These candies are small rewards that still taste sweet. The letters can be two people's initials, and a giant talking one means you feel misled or are posing to please others.
Macadamize
A macadamized road is solid footing. The groundwork for later success is already laid.
Macaroni
Macaroni is comfort and ease. It can pull you back toward a simpler time.
Macaroon
A macaroon is a rounded life, with the different parts held in balance.

Mace
Mace is the search for a cool head over a hot one. Feeling does not get to run the decision.
Machete
A machete is fierce hostility and anger that is wrecking things instead of helping. Used to clear brush, it is the skill of cutting through problems; it can also stand for masculine power.
Machine Gun
A machine gun means temper has slipped its leash. If the fire is aimed at you, rage in quantity is headed your direction.
Machinery
Machinery means you are moving by habit, deciding without thought. Its condition mirrors mind or body: in need of repair, a self-image or a bond needs work; rusty, the method is out of date.
Mackerel
Mackerel is speed in facing feelings you have pushed down. Leave them untouched and you will feel closed in.
Mad Dog
A mad dog is a verbal attack from people you counted as friends. Putting the dog down means you will outlast their bad opinion.
Madness
Being called mad warns of trouble, loss, and heavy grief, or of behavior that does not fit the moment. It can also be the sense of being boxed in and unable to speak; seeing it in others is gloom.
Madonna
The holy mother is shelter, blessing, and feminine power that changes things. The singer of the same name is a shifting personality, confidence, and a lyric that may be the actual advice; the material-girl image can mean you are too caught up in things.
Mafia
Membership here means other people are steering you, or you are using power against them. Contact with the group is inner conflict.
Magazine
Reading a magazine means you are open to new ideas; the title adds the rest. A gun magazine is stamina, and one that jams is exhaustion.
Magenta
Magenta is kindness and compassion. A dark stretch is ready to end.
Maggot
Maggots are anxiety about death, or a problem you rejected that is now consuming your peace. Stepping on them is guilt; black ones are denial, and ones leaving the mouth are words you will not own.
Magic
Magic says look at a problem from a new angle. It is also wonder, or the suspicion that someone is running a trick; black magic is getting what you want by a dishonest route.
Magic Carpet
A ride on a magic carpet means obstacles and bodily limits are being cleared.
Magic Mirror
A magic mirror means outward looks are getting too much weight. It can also be a search for reassurance from other people.
Magician
A magician means the task is trickier than you thought, and the shine has come off. You may be trying to make yourself or someone else believe what you know is false.
Magistrate
A magistrate is an authority you want telling you what to do, and guilt that your actions do not match your beliefs.
Magnet
A magnet can be a pull toward dishonor. It can also be personal power, a force binding relationships, or a personality that draws people.
Magnifying Glass
A magnifying glass means some part of life needs a closer look.
Magnolia
Magnolias are beauty, grace, and elegance.
Magnolia Tree
A magnolia tree is the wish to be noticed, sometimes with too much confidence in your skill. It can also be the wish to feel sheltered from trouble.
Magpie
A magpie is discontent and quarrel, so watch what you say. It can also be a bond where you feel shorted; an old counting rhyme may matter, and a dead bird is a malicious rumor.
Mahjong
Mahjong is a waking situation that needs strategy, patience, and a steady face. The tile, a wind or a number, adds its own clue.
Mahogany
Mahogany wood is stubbornness.
Maid
A maid means you lean too hard on other people's help and should look after yourself. Being one is clutter that needs clearing, and a cue to tend your own feelings.
Mail
Mail is a need to reach someone from now or from earlier, or a note from intuition. It can pun on a man in your life; lost mail is the feeling of being left out.
Mailbox
A mailbox is important news about to arrive, often from deeper in you. A full box means those messages have not been taken in.
Mailman
A mailman is communication, and something you need to tell. Empty-handed, he brings disappointment; if you are the carrier and that is not your job, a message is being passed to you, or a secret has been trusted to you.
Maintenance
Something under maintenance means a part of you, or of a relationship, needs better care. On a car, it says stop before you burn out.
Majorette
Majorettes are unity and the rhythm of life. Being one means you have a grip on the issue.
Makeup
Makeup is a cover over some part of yourself, or the best face you can put forward. It can pun on making peace with someone; too much of it means looks are outweighing what is inside.
Making Out
Making out is a wish to pursue someone, held back by fear of spoiling a friendship. If you do not want them that way, the dream asks you to take on a trait of theirs.
Malachite
Malachite is quiet, ease, and a body that can finally relax.

The ship is a need to shield yourself from emotional storm. The creature is a stinging remark, often from a painful memory.
Manager
Being a manager means you need more order and efficiency. A real manager you know adds the qualities you admire or dislike.

Mandala
A mandala marks a favorable change, and a sense of being whole, at peace, and in accord.
Mane
An animal's mane is a bodily appetite; the animal itself adds the rest. It can pun on what is main, on Main Street, or on the state of Maine.
Mango
A mango is fertility and sexual appetite. It can also pun on a man who should go, a bond you need to release.
Manhole Cover
A manhole cover is thought pressed down so bitter feeling cannot rise.
Maniac
Being a maniac means temper needs a tighter hold. Feeling should not be allowed to run the scene.
Manicure
A manicure is glamour, and a wish to be noticed for work you have done. Something beautiful may be coming through that work.
Manna
Manna is spiritual food you are short of.
Mannequin
A mannequin is a version of yourself you put on display, while you stay too passive in the real scene. Its clothes hint at a part you want to act and have not.
Manners
Good manners are restraint worth copying while awake. Bad manners are a lack of respect for a person or a matter.
Mansion
A mansion is your largest potential, often while the present feels stuck. One in the sky is a lofty aim, or the wish to live above everyone else.

A manta ray is ease moving through feeling. A school attacking means buried emotion is too large to keep down.

Map
A map says the road you are on can meet your needs and teach you who you are. If you cannot read it, you feel lost and still unsure where to go.
Maple
A maple is humility, warmth, and a full life. A falling tree is family ties breaking; the leaf can be the five senses, or a protecting hand.
Marathon
A marathon is the long run of your life and how you feel inside it. Endurance shows in how you approach the course.
Marble
Marbles are keen observation. Polishing one is persistence; an object made of the stone is a firm stand, or luxury.
March
The month of March is disappointment, and also the start of something new, like spring. It can tell you to keep marching through a hard stretch.
Marching
Marching to music is teamwork, conformity, and structure. It may be a call toward public service, or a wish to stand with people who hold public roles.
Marching Band
A marching band means you can work with others toward one aim, and you keep discipline.
Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras is the need to drop inhibition and let yourself go.
Mare
A mare is intuition. She can also be sexual fulfillment; a white one is spirit and creativity.
Mariachi
A mariachi band is Mexican tradition, perhaps a piece of your own heritage. Singing with them is a passionate message going out.
Marigold
Marigolds mark health and a long life.
Marijuana
Using marijuana is an attempt to leave reality or numb a psychological hurt. Someone pushing it on you is a bad influence and a self under threat; the smell alone can be a wider awareness you should use, rather than a substance.
Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe asks for a more open sexuality. Wearing her clothes means get closer to your own femininity.

A marina is emotional calm. A strained relationship has finally settled.
Mariner
A mariner marks a long journey that is pleasant.
Marionette
A marionette means other people are pulling your strings. You sway easily and struggle to stand your ground.
Markers
Markers are creativity, and a chance to add life to the day; color adds a clue. They can also say write something down before you forget it.
Market
A market is a need, emotional or bodily, that is not being met. A bare one is gloom and an empty place in life; a full one is choice.

Marmot
A marmot is deceit. Some part of a relationship is misleading you.
Maroon
Maroon is courage, bravery, and strength.

A marriage is commitment and a joining of opposite sides of yourself; the partner's qualities are ones you need to take on. A proposal can mean a turn for the worse, an ex means old lessons you already know, and an arranged match means you feel forced and voiceless.

Mascara

A mask means you are posing and showing only half of what you feel. If it will not come off, the real self is blurred; on someone else, you are fighting deceit and jealousy.

Masochism is a need to feel things at an extreme. It can also be self-sacrifice, the belief that old mistakes must be paid for in suffering.

Mass is a sense of community. You weigh other people when you choose how to live.
Massacre
Witnessing a massacre means you follow. You adopt other people's ideas without stopping to question them.

Receiving a massage means sensual life is thin, or the body needs better care, and the guard can come down. Giving one means you are trying to win someone to your view.
Mast
A ship's mast is a long, pleasant journey, or hope of rescue. From a wreck, it is a sudden change.
Mastectomy
A mastectomy is numbness toward other people, a sense of being cut off from them. It can also be independence; after a real diagnosis, it is fear of losing femininity.
Master
Having a master is the feeling that you lack discipline and want a strong guide. Being one means a problem you must get a handle on, or a lead you should take.
Masturbation
This act, kept as a symbol, is sexual wanting that has not been admitted, or a need to care for yourself in a sensual or emotional way. Seeing someone else do it is worry about your own restraint, or a part of life that does not satisfy.
Mat
A mat means people are walking over you. It can also name someone called Matt.
Matador
A matador says test yourself and get ready for the obstacles ahead. Bravery is the work.
Matches
Striking a match means something in life needs to be lit again. It can also pun on a person who is your match.
Matchmaker
A matchmaker is openness to new experience, and pressure around finding a life partner. Taking that role yourself means you are interfering in lives that are not yours.
Mathematics
Mathematics is a situation that needs cooler, more rational thought. A problem you cannot solve mirrors a waking confusion, and the sense that something does not add up.
Matryoshka Doll
A nesting doll is the many layers of who you are, and the feeling that nobody has taken time to see them. It can also be a revelation waiting inside.
Mattress
A mattress is your support. It can also be new duties that will take your time; a new one marks the stage of life you are in now.

Medieval times are old habits and outdated thinking. Watch what happens in the dream to see which part of life needs updating.
Meditate
Meditation is self-acceptance and a clearer mind. Judge others less, and ease up on yourself.

Being a medium means you are closer to intuition and to what lies under the surface. It can also mean you are stuck in the middle, unwilling to commit.

A memory stick holds ideas and advice worth using in a current situation. It is also the ease of passing feelings and beliefs to other people.
Men
Men stand for authority or a father figure. A room of them, if you are a woman, asks you to own an assertive side; if you are a man at an all-male gathering, you may doubt whether you measure up.

Minerals are a bright outlook. What looks dark now can still improve.

Mint

A minuet is pleasant company and joyful friendship. Dancing it is contentment at home and prosperity.

A miracle means you plan ahead and trust what you can accomplish.

A mirage is disillusion. What you believed about someone may prove the opposite.
Mire
A mire is a small interruption in your plans.

Your reflection is how you see yourself, or how you want to be seen, and what you might change. No reflection means the identity has been lost to other people's needs; a cracked glass is a distorted self-image, and fog means your aims are unclear.

A room of mirrors means the sense of self is slipping. You feel lost and cannot tell which way is forward.
Miscarriage
A miscarriage, read as a symbol, means a plan did not land as hoped, and the current course may cost you something you value. It can also be the sense of having been wronged; in an actual pregnancy such dreams are common and need not be taken as prediction.
Miscommunication
A miscommunication mirrors waking trouble getting your point across. Inadequacy sits underneath.
Miser
A miser is low self-worth. You are limiting yourself and missing resources that are already available.
Mispronounce
Mispronouncing words is nerves or excitement about a situation. Hearing it done means you caught something you wish you had not, or a misunderstanding you would rather deny.

A missile is helplessness before forces you do not control. It can also be insecurity about sex.
Missing
Missing an object is disorder and a loss of control. A missing person is unfinished feeling about them, or a quality of theirs you will not admit in yourself.
Missionary
Missionary work says it is time to set your own goals. It can also be the wish to help and to give something back.
Mist
