Food is what you take in. A meal, a taste, or a hunger is an idea or a need you are being asked to swallow or refuse.

Macaroni
Macaroni is comfort and ease. It can pull you back toward a simpler time.
Mango
A mango is fertility and sexual appetite. It can also pun on a man who should go, a bond you need to release.
Marmalade
Marmalade says life needs more zest.
Meals
Meals mean small matters are stealing attention from what matters. They can also be a lack of spiritual and sensual nourishment.

Meat
Raw meat is obstacles on the way to a goal, or feeling that is still untamed. Cooking or eating it means you are reaching the center of a matter; spoiled meat is body or mind wearing down.
Melon
A melon says relax. It can also be fertility, appetite, or vitality, and sometimes a figure for breasts.
Milk
Milk is motherly care, kindness, and nourishment; sour milk says withhold support and question motives, spilled milk is lost faith, and choking on it means you are being smothered. Someone may also be draining you for money or feeling.
Molasses
Molasses is a happy home and good hospitality. It can also be something moving far too slowly.
Muffin
Baking a muffin is devoted work that will pay you. Eating one is a taste for expensive things, or a pet name for someone you love.

Mulberries mean an unexpected obstacle will set a goal back hard.

Mushroom
Mushrooms are unwise pleasures that vanish as fast as they arrive, and also growth through hardship. Eating them is leadership; gathering wild ones is a risky situation, and ones filling the mouth are bitter feeling you will not let out.
Mustard
Mustard growing is success and wealth. Eating the seed is regret over a hasty decision.
