Dream Dictionary
A dictionary from the Spellbook — symbols A–Z, and themes from Alphabet through Wedding.
The symbol list and themes follow the Dream Moods A–Z dictionary and theme pages. The readings here are written for the Spellbook. A symbol is a reading, not a prediction.
School returns when you feel tested, unready, or late to a lesson. It can also be an old classroom feeling that never quite graduated.
L
Laptop
A laptop is the need to reach people wherever you are. Missing or stolen, it means you lean too hard on a social circle and should trust your own merit.
Late
Being late is fear of change and mixed feelings about a chance. You may feel unready, or that time is running short; it can also say that arriving late is still enough.
Learn
Learning is hunger for knowledge and a deeper grasp of yourself. A place of learning is success and a rise in standing.
Lecture
Giving a lecture means you are becoming dull and your way of speaking needs work. Listening to one means you should look harder before you decide.
Letter
A letter you receive is a new chance, or a message from deeper in you. Sending one is something important that needs to be heard; tearing it up is regret, and an unopened letter is news you are refusing.
Letters
Letters of the alphabet point toward an object, creature, or place that shares that letter. They can also be an idea or a feeling still too early to name.
Library
A library is hunger for ideas, and the need to study a situation before you act. A disordered one means too much information at once; a book you cannot find is a part of you still undeveloped.
Locker Room
A locker room is time to cool down after hard competition. You may also be pursuing a romantic interest.
Lunch Box
A lunch box is energy saved for an important event, or the support you use each day. Empty, that deeper nourishment is missing.
