Dream Dictionary

A dictionary from the Spellbook — symbols A–Z, and themes from Alphabet through Wedding.

The symbol list and themes follow the Dream Moods A–Z dictionary and theme pages. The readings here are written for the Spellbook. A symbol is a reading, not a prediction.

Animals bring instinct up to the surface. The kind of animal, and whether it is wild, tame, or hurt, shows which appetite or fear is awake.

  • Fawn

A fawn means faithful friends and faithful love. The color means kindness.

  • Ferret

A ferret means suspicion of other people, or a search. A white one amplifies a problem of trust.

    Animals

  • Fish

Fish mean insight swimming below awareness, and catching one brings it up. Eating fish feeds spirit and luck, and a fish out of its element means you feel out of place.

  • Foal

A foal means a new undertaking and fresh energy.

    Animals

  • Fox

A fox means cleverness you may need, or someone sly near you. It can also mean a lonely stretch for reflection, or a person you find attractive.

  • Frog

A frog means unexpected change and a possible transformation. Leaping frogs mean you jump from one commitment to another, and eating one means an unpleasant task you still have to do.
