Dream Dictionary
A dictionary from the Spellbook — symbols A–Z, and themes from Alphabet through Wedding.
The symbol list and themes follow the Dream Moods A–Z dictionary and theme pages. The readings here are written for the Spellbook. A symbol is a reading, not a prediction.
People in a dream are often a piece of you, or a conversation you have not finished. Ask what quality that person is carrying.
D
Daughter
Your daughter reflects a better version of you, or the bond you actually have with her. If you have no daughter, she stands for the receptive side of your character.
Daughter-In-Law
Your daughter-in-law signals a surprise ahead. Her manner tells you whether it will cheer you or trouble you.
Dead
Speaking with someone who has died can mean you are keeping their company in order to finish goodbye, or that a current tie resembles them and needs to end. It can also warn that the people around you are a poor influence.

Demons
Demons stand for fear, a habit that harms you, or a secret that still follows you. Feeling possessed by them means you feel helpless.
Dentist
The dentist mirrors worry about how you look, or doubt about whether someone is sincere. The discomfort passes and leaves you steadier.
Detective
A detective means you are hunting for a hidden talent or for the truth of a worry. Being followed by one points to guilt and a character under question.
Devil
The devil stands for guilt, a limit you have accepted, or a clever temptation. Talking with him means you know the offer is unwise and still feel its pull.
Doctor
Seeing a doctor means you need emotional or physical care. Being one means you can patch a wound, in yourself or for someone else.
Dominatrix
A dominatrix shows a wish for power and control. The same figure can mark a sharpened sense of purpose.
Dwarf
A dwarf means you are grounded, or that some part of you is undeveloped and you feel small.
