Dream Dictionary
A dictionary from the Spellbook — symbols A–Z, and themes from Alphabet through Wedding.
The symbol list and themes follow the Dream Moods A–Z dictionary and theme pages. The readings here are written for the Spellbook. A symbol is a reading, not a prediction.
The house is the self. Upper rooms lean toward thought, lower rooms toward what you keep underneath, and the state of the house is the state of you.
B
Backdoor
A rear door means the answer is not the obvious one. You may also be hunting for a shortcut.
Backyard
The yard behind the house is childhood memory, a secret, or something you have stopped noticing. Its condition shows how well the parts of life are kept.
Balcony
Up on this ledge you want to be seen and to rise in status. Clean, others look up to you; worn, the public face needs repair.
Basement
The lowest floor is intuition, basic appetite, and what you have stored because you would not deal with it. Mess there is confusion; the word can also mean you feel brought low.
Bathroom
This room is instinct and the need to release what you have been holding, or a cleansing of mood. A public one with no privacy means other people come before you, and you fear being judged for what you let go.
See also Urination.
Bay Window
The projecting window is an attempt to see a wider view.
Bedroom
This private room is what you keep hidden, including sexuality. The one from childhood means a present feeling has woken an old secret.
