Dream Dictionary
A dictionary from the Spellbook — symbols A–Z, and themes from Alphabet through Wedding.
The symbol list and themes follow the Dream Moods A–Z dictionary and theme pages. The readings here are written for the Spellbook. A symbol is a reading, not a prediction.
A dream relationship echoes the waking one. It often shows the sentence you have been unwilling to say.
A
Abandonment
Being left behind asks you to drop old attitudes that stall your growth, or it names a fear of desertion after a loss. Leaving someone else means the choices in front of you feel like too much.
Abuse
Hurting someone else brings old actions back as regret, while being hurt means you feel used. Harm toward animals or children points to a younger part of you that has no voice.
Adultery
An affair points to desire you have not expressed, or to a tangle that does not serve you. A partner straying names fear of being left or taken for granted.
Affection
Warmth you show means the bond feels satisfying, or that people you love need more of it. The dream can also mean affection is scarce while you are awake.
Alimony
Paying alimony means past mistakes are still sending you the bill.
Amorous
Feeling amorous is temptation, and private appetite may pull you into scandal. Other people, or animals, in that mood can lure you toward desires that will not satisfy.
Annulment
An annulment means you are refusing to admit something.
Apologize
Saying you are sorry seeks harmony and may name a guilt you still owe, or a grudge ready to drop. Someone apologizing to you means you feel wronged.
Argument
An argument is an inner conflict or an unsettled waking issue, so notice who you fight and what the fight is about. Hearing one means a matter is not being discussed and you feel overlooked.
