We were yearning for 2005 era internet, so we created The Fang. Raw, unfiltered internet. No algorithms, no advertisements, no ai-generated content, no influencers, no “your content will return in 10 seconds” while it forces you to watch ads, and most important, no fake accounts/bots. Just real people connecting over what they actually love: horror movies, underground music, weird crafts & oddities, and genuine camaraderie. Sure, it’s cool technology has us so advanced we don’t need to think. In fact, we shut our brains off so much, we’ve become doom-scrolling Zombies. This isn’t an attack, we all do it, it’s literally something the big companies spent billions of dollars researching to trigger something in our brains that puts us in a state of catatonic non-absorption dopamine-chasing. You’ll notice after 20 minutes of just scrolling on The Fang, you might not be as edgy, as cranky, as empty feeling. This is because we’re not using psychological tactics to get you “high” on our “supply”. We just miss putting moody, ambiguous quotes as our status, or picking our top 8. So we built it. We’re here. Are you bored scrolling? Good! That’s the point. We’re fixing everyone’s brains and giving you points for it. Fuck the Algorithm. Fuck Zuck. Let’s talk about spooky shit and eventually go touch grass, maybe together.
